20040822 - Neuse River Canoe Trip
Put in was just below the Falls Lake Dam - downstream of Falls of the Neuse Rd, river right (17S 0718705 3979949). Take out was downstream of Buffaloe Road, river right (17S 0723027 3969856). The river was at a stage of 2.77 feet and had a stream flow of 1390 CFS. The total trip took just over 2 hours to complete because the river was so high and fast. There was little in the way of obstructions and rapids.
