Ingredients: (portions for a 5 gal. batch)

  • 3.3 lbs. LME - Amber
  • 3.3 lbs. LME - Light/Pale
  • 1 lbs. American crystal 40L
  • 2 oz. Cascade (Pellets - 5% AA) Boil time 60 min.
  • 0.5 oz. Fuggles (Pellets - 5% AA) Boil time 1 min.
  • 1 t Irish Moss
  • 6 tsp Gypsum
  • 0.25 tablet Campden tablets
  • 50 ml Wyeast 1968 (London ESB Ale) Yeast (Ideal ferm. temp: 64-72F)

Cooking Directions:

  1. Prepare the water with the campden tablets.
  2. Steep the Crystal Malt for 30 minutes at 165F.
  3. Add the extract, begin boil and start the hop schedule.

  • In Bottles: 2 weeks
