I will provide shortcuts to specific areas of Durham here. The controls on the map screen, along with your mouse and mouse wheel allow you to zoom/pan to specific areas on your own. Some areas are presented in a printable PDF file.

• Bike racks - I have added bike racks using the data collected by Jim Reingruber at http://www.durhambikeracks.com. A big thanks goes out to him for allowing me to use the coordinate data.
• Most of the racks added in 2008 are missing. See the the section Adding to the Map for details on adding in racks you may know about.

Future Direction

Most of the following has already been done and tools are in place for doing them for Durham. It is now just a matter of putting the time together...

1. Garmin maps of Durham - I have some test maps I've downloaded to a Garmin GPS. The best feature - I was able to search for the nearest bike rack!
2. Create nice PDF maps of the Durham area
3. Create a Durham specific "slippy map" and run it on a local server. I can then render with Durham specific styles.
